There was a limited seating for the "1st Annual Nuclear Medicine "HOT SEAT" Course 2006" and the course was a great success. It was held at Maimonides Medical Center, and attendance included individuals from: Maimonides Medical Center, Downstate SUNY Medical Center, St Vincents Manhattan, St Vincents Staten Island, UMDNJ New Jersey, University of Buffalo, Methodist Medical Center, and several other residents from other programs. Please review the testimonials for several reviews of the course.

The 2nd Annual Nuclear Medicine "HOT SEAT" Course 2007 on May 6, 2007, also located at Maimonides Medical Center, was a great success and well attended by residents from many more different programs (residents from UMDNJ, Mount Sinai NY, Harlem Hospital, Maimonides Hospital, Downstate Medical Center, University of Buffalo, Lenox Hill, St Vincents Manhattan, St Vincents Staten Island and many other residency programs). This conference also had a limited seating.

Nuclear Board Review CD
Dr. Gerard is also working on a new CD to compliment his board reviews which will be available in the near future, and will work on PC and Mac computers. This CD originates from a variety of Dr. Gerard's teaching styles and unique lectures and will offer a high yield tool for learning nuclear medicine for the oral board examination. Stay tuned for the CD release date.

"Nuclear Board Review Appetizers"
Dr. Gerard is also offering a Course titled
"Nuclear Board Review Appetizers". This is a course offered early in the year for those that wish to start board preparation early. Participants will be shown many board review cases and will be taught how to interpret studies and there will be a review of all nuclear subjects, including NRC scenarios. This course is given in response to many resident requests for early board preparation. Why start board review late when you can be a step ahead of the rest? If you are interested in this board preparation course, please contact Dr. Gerard at docnucs@yahoo.com.

News For Additional "HOT SEAT" Board Reviews

In addition, Dr. Gerard is assembling a group of highly qualified Board Certified Radiologists who will be available for "HOT SEAT" Reviews in other specialties for the oral boards. They will be available to travel to your institution to present reviews, in the specialty of your choice, in a "HOT SEAT" format.  This will help concentrate on areas of the boards that require more intensive reviews, contrary to the larger seminars where all topics are covered more superficially. This is in response to resident requests over the past several years. Stay tuned for more details.
